Ice Fishing Trip to Green Bay
__I have set up an Ice Fishing trip for the weekend of February 24th to the 26th of 2012. There is a second location offered on this trip it is staying at the Americinn Lodge of Sturgeon Bay 622 so Ashland in Sturgeon Bay the
location that we stayed at last year. The additional cost per person for the two nights would be $66.60 making your trip cost $306.60 This includes a free Continental breakfast each day. Lake Jacksonville Trip, Jacksonville, Illinois, April 20th thru April 22th 2012, This is a weekend trip starting on Friday with lodging Friday night and Saturday night and checking out of the motel on Sunday morning and fishing on Sunday returning that afternoon or evening. We are staying at the Blackhawk Village Inn 1111 East Morton Ave Jacksonville (217) 245-2187. The rooms have two Queen size beds and these rooms are smoke free Lake Jacksonville is located just 3 miles south of Jacksonville on highway 67, it is a 500 acre man -made lake.with 22miles of wooded shore line and is 38 ft deep at its deepest point. The average depth is 13ft.The lake was stocked in 1986 and 1987 with 800,000 bass, bluegill, catfish and red ear sunfish. In 1989 and 1990 5,000 Hybrid stripers were added and there also are Crappie in the lake. The boat dock and launch ramp are located at 2197 New Lake Rd. Telephone # (217) 479-4646 there is plenty of parking and no motor restrictions, launch fees vary on the horse power of your boat motor. All boat owners must show proof of boat insurance your (policy) before launching will be permitted. The cost of this trip is $60.00 per person based on double occupancy. I have (15) rooms reserved with room for 30 members on this trip. To secure your reservation a payment of $60.00 is required.
Lake Norfork, Mountain Home Arkansas, May 19th through May 26, 2012, We will be fishing on Lake Norfork or the famous White River in Mountain Home Arkansas. These waters have Stripers; Large & Small mouth bass, Walleye, Crappie, Catfish & Trout in them. The name of the Resort that we will be staying in is Hummingbird Hideaway. The resort is clean, comfortable and well maintained there is a tackle shop, boat rental, boat launch, covered and lighted dock with 16 slips, dock foot lockers for stashing gear. There are restaurants in the area for those of you who don’t want to cook. The cabins have fully equipped kitchens, Cable TV, wireless internet & air conditioning. I have reserved a 3 bed room unit for 6 people but it will sleep 10. The unit has a queen, two full and two twin beds. Each unit includes a hidea-bed or futon. The unit has 2 baths and central A/C & heat. The travel time to the resort is in the area of 8 hours, this trip is new for 2012. Member’s of our club have fished Lake Norfork and stayed at the Hummingbird Hideaway Resort and enjoyed their stay. The cost of this trip per person with 6 people is $143.00. The cost of this
trip per person with 8 people is $118.00. The cost of this trip per person with 10 people is $103.00. This price is for the weekly rental of the unit only. Central Lake, Ontario, Canada, June 16rd----June 23th 2012, This is one trip that you want to take if you enjoy fishing for large Northern Pike and Walleyes and being the only group of fisherman on the lake. This is a double fly in trip that takes you to Central Lake in Ontario Canada. If you have
never had the experience of taking a fly in fishing trip it’s great and the cost is very reasonable. The approximate cost of this trip is in the area of $1500.00 dollars. Check out their web site WWW.BigHookCamps.com. We do our own cooking and cleaning which requires everyone to pitch in and do something. There are five remote lakes that can also be fished. This requires you and your partner to portage (walk through) to reach these lakes and you are the only fisherman on that lake. The main camp has electricity 24 hours a day provided by solar panels and windmills. There is satellite telephone service in camp. This trip requires (8) members to qualify for the lowest rate of $--------for the week. The trip requires two days travel time up and two days return which will require leaving on
June 21st Thursday and returning on July 1st a Sunday making the total length of the trip 11days. A deposit of $250.00 per person is required must be made by the 1st week of January 2012. The DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. The deposit for this trip are required A.S.A.P. The 8 man rate should be in the area of $1125.00 the additional $375.00 covers your gas, meals and motel expenses to and from the resort.
Pelee Island Trip, Ontario Canada, September 12th thru September 16th 2012, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye, On this trip you are fishing on Lake Erie in Canadian waters for Small Mouth Bass and Walleye. Accommodations, Food and lodging on Pelee Island are provided at the Anchor and Wheel Inn. The Anchor & Wheel Inn serves excellent food and the cost is included in the price of the trip. This is a “THIS IS A BRING YOUR OWN BOAT TRIP”. There is no boat rental on the Island. This is one trip that you do not want to miss the food alone is worth the cost of this trip as is the challenge crossing the Ambassador Bridge into Canada. Very Large “Small Mouth Bass” in the three to six pound class are caught on this trip each year along with some nice Walleyes. The cost of this trip is $250.00. Deposit of $100.00 is required. Extra days can be added to this trip the rate per day is $60.00. If you are going on this trip and have made a deposit by the close of the February 16th 2012 Fish Tales meeting night and provide the following information to me. The day, date and time you plan to leave and the date you plan to return along with information on your vehicle, the length of your boat and trailer. I will notify Debbie and she will make the ferry reservations for us on March 1st 2012. Any one signing up for the trip
